Subway Therapy

When times are tumultuous it’s important to gather, and since we can’t do it in person Subway Therapy started a collective journal, and has been asking questions every week. The answers get written on sticky notes, and it's a wonderful way to bring ideas to life. Get involved in the ST community to feel less isolated if you are struggling, and if you are celebrating, send out your good vibes to others.

Listening Lab

A grueling pandemic, increasing social isolation, and a divisive political season left many unheard, unseen, and unsure of how to come together. To explore this challenge, emerging young artists from The Door worked with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to create participatory installations in shared spaces. They went on to be called Listening Lab.

We invited passersby to converse, reflect, and connect with us by asking a simple question:

Since March 2020, how has your life changed?

Secret Telephone

Secret Telephone is a physical telephone that travels to different public spaces. Anyone that picks it up can get something off their chest anonymously and feel less alone through the shared experience of listening to secrets left by others.

Projects We Support

We support a wide range of projects in equally diverse ways. Our support services range from production assistance, installation design, management, strategy, and more. Essentially, we're available to help with whatever artists or orgs need to bring social good projects to people that benefit from their existence.

The Strangers Project

Brandon Doman, creator of The Strangers Project, has been asking "What's your story?" for the past 11 years and has received more than 75,000 hand-written, true, and anonymous answers from strangers in public space.

Creative Mornings

CreativeMornings is the world’s largest face-to-face creative community.

In 2008, Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swissmiss) started CreativeMornings out of a desire for an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Every event would be free of charge and open to anyone.

Today, attendees gather in cities around the world and online via Virtual FieldTrips to enjoy creative connections, inspiring community, and generous opportunities. The archive of past breakfast talks is humbling.

The World Letter - Mexico (San Mateo) -

The World Letter

The World Letter is an ongoing participatory art project founded by French-Iranian artist Cocovan, where the world writes together a collective love letter to the world. Wether during public installations, or online, more than 24,000 people have already contributed to The World Letter, from 144 different countries!

The Marketplace of the Future

Imagine a time in which all organizations are working for people and planet... A time in which circularity, renewable energy, regeneration, and social equity are the norm. That future is not far off in time and space but is actually expressing itself right here in the present. Inspired by the 1939 New York World's Fair, the Marketplace of the Future is a showcase of products and services that are bringing that future into the present.
